Campus Activities (CA) CE Credits The Certified Student Affairs Educator-Campus Activities (CSAEd-CA) credential is designed exclusively for campus activities specialists who are mid-level and above, as well as student affairs educators looking to transition into campus activities specialist and senior-level roles. Developed by NACA subject matter experts and built upon the foundation of the core student affairs educator certification (CSAEd), this specialty credential demonstrates continuous learning, competency, and knowledge in established domains which are essential to success in the complex and evolving landscape of campus activities work. Campus Recreation (CR) CE Credits The Certified Student Affairs Educator-Campus Recreation (CSAEd-CR) credential is designed exclusively for campus recreation specialists who are mid-level and above, as well as student affairs educators looking to transition into campus recreation specialist and senior-level roles. Developed by NIRSA subject matter experts and built upon the foundation of the core student affairs educator certification (CSAEd), this specialty credential demonstrates continuous learning, competency, and knowledge in established domains which are essential to success in the complex and evolving landscape of campus recreation work. College Unions (CU) CE Credits The Certified Student Affairs Educator-College Unions (CSAEd-CU) credential is designed exclusively for college unions specialists who are mid-level and above, as well as student affairs educators looking to transition into college unions specialist and senior-level roles. Developed by ACUI subject matter experts and built upon the foundation of the core student affairs educator certification (CSAEd), this specialty credential demonstrates continuous learning, competency, and knowledge in established domains which are essential to success in the complex and evolving landscape of college unions work. NASPA has been approved by the Higher Education Consortium for Student Affairs Certification to provide CE credit for Certified Student Affairs Educators (CSAEd). Programs that qualify for CE credit in this program are clearly identified. NASPA is solely responsible for all aspects of this program. Student Affairs Certification includes seven credentials–the core student affairs educator certification and six specialty area certifications. The core certification serves as an important, independent credential as well as a required prerequisite for each specialty certification. Certification is designed to benefit individual educators at the mid-level and above, higher education institutions, and the larger student affairs and services profession. Instructions for obtaining credit are available in the NASPA Events app. The deadline to submit a continuing education request for this event is April 19, 2025. For questions regarding continuing education, please email continuingeducation@naspa.org. Sessions at the NASPA Annual Conference eligible for certification hours will be indicated by the corresponding certification acronym as outlined below: Core CE Credits Core CE credits are offered for programs that are directly related to one or more of the eight Student Affairs Educator Certification Domains. Social Justice and Inclusion (SJI) CE Credits Social Justice and Inclusion (SJI) CE credits are offered for programs that are focused on the process, outcomes, and dynamic influence of individual and institutional awareness and action to foster inclusion, create equity, and ensure access grounded in the understanding of systems of oppression and privilege and how they are perpetuated in our practice and communities. SJI CE credits count toward the Core certification (CSAEd) maintenance. Over 200 sessions are eligible for SJI CE Credits!
