TEXARKANA MONTHLY

Haunted Texarkana Ghost Walk

Halloween may be over, but that doesn’t mean the scares have to end! Since 2014, The Haunted Texarkana Ghost Walk has been providing an entertaining mix of spookiness and history in a fun, family-friendly environment. According to their Facebook page, the Ghost Walk encourages tourists to “walk through downtown Texarkana and experience both the paranormal and historical secrets lurking in our town!” Personally, I’m not sure I want to imagine ghosts all around me when I’m trying to enjoy a margarita at Zapata’s, but for the non-faint of heart, the tours run every Friday and Saturday night starting at 8 pm for $15 a ticket which you can purchase on Eventbrite.com. More information, like meeting places and contact information, can be found on the Haunted Texarkana Ghost Walk Facebook page. T-Town 5 Playing Live at 67 Landing (Formerly known as Scottie’s Grill) As a lover of classic rock myself, there’s no way I’ll be missing out on the hot, up- and-coming, Texarkana-based band, T-Town 5, playing at 67 Landing on November 14! But according to their Facebook page, classic rock isn’t the only thing they play! They describe their band as “fun music performed by fun people,” and their stylings range from 70s, 80s, and 90s music along with rock and blues. They’ll be playing from 7-10:30 pm, so if you love good food, good drinks, and great music, don’t miss out on this incredible night! If one night just isn’t enough, you can also catch them at Redbone Magic Brewery

BY BAILEY GRAVITT N ow that everyone’s back out and about (mask or no mask), and we’ve all officially made it back around to the fall, I figure there’s absolutely no better time than now to start celebrating this wonderful season, and there’s no better way to do it than by participating in all the AMAZING events Texarkana has planned for the month of November. This is the place for all the moms and dads who have hit rock bottom when it comes to ideas on how to keep their children entertained and are about to jump ship. It’s also for the people who have spent so many consecutive nights at Ironwood Grill that the managers have asked if they should just keep a table reserved in your name. Please tell me that’s not just me... Anyhow, here are the events destined to spice up your November calendar…

Seven Things You Should Do in Texarkana During the Month of November!

on November 21 at 7 pm! Jawbone Playing Live at Redbone Magic Brewery

Speaking of Redbone, one of Texarkana’s most delicious eating establishments, another Texarkana-based band is coming to rock the house there on Saturday, November 7 at 7 pm. Jawbone is one of our best local bands and has opened for Blues Traveler at The Jump, Jive, and Jam Festival, and has even shared the stage with Steve Cropper of the Blues Brothers!
