No other class of E-Bikes are allowed on the Island

are typically less frequented by others. Island road and trail maps are available at bike rental shops or the Tourism Bureau Information Booth located across from the Arnold Transit Dock. Remember, no matter how lost you think you might be, all trails eventually lead back to the shoreline or to town. It’s a small Island so you can’t get too lost. Some of the best memories of your visit to Mackinac will be the excel- lent time you’ll have riding bikes. REMEMBER : ALWAYS Stay to the right side of the road or trail, always use a light at night and as a reminder horses, carriages and pedestrians always have the right-of-way over bikes.
For those with even higher skill levels, Tranquil Bluff trail is a particularly chal- lenging route. This steep and rugged path is best suited for advanced riders. Similarly , Morning Snack trail features a fun log jump at the bottom of a big hill that push riders to the limits. Swamp Trail and Croghan’s Water Trail also offer technical terrain that will challenge the most daring moun- tain bikers. These trails feature plenty of obstacles and a good mix of terrain and plenty of opportunities to get dirty. Eagle Point Cave, Friendship’s Altar, Crack in the Island, Scott’s Cave, Sunset Rock, and Robinson’s Folly are secluded destinations you can find and
