Dreaming stories Thutirla Pula (Two Boys Dreaming)
This is an important story for the Wangkangurru and other central Australian people. It tells how Dreaming spirits crossed the desert called Munga-Thirri (land of sandhills). The story is about two boys travelling through the Simpson Desert and finding every waterhole along the way. This songline helped them find water and save 600 kilometres on their journey. Thinti-Thintinha Spring (Fred Springs) was created by a willy wagtail dancing in circles. 9.3 SkillBuilder activity GEOGRAPHICAL INQUIRY 1.
