LEARNING INTENTION By the end of this lesson you should be able to: • explain the factors that inþuence peoples decisions about where to live • describe how places change over time.
Tune in Why would someone choose to live in a busy city, or a rural town with only a couple of stores? We choose places to live for many reasons, and FIGURE1 shows the four factors that guide these decisions. Imagine you had to select a new place for your family to live. Refer to the four factors in FIGURE1 and, in pairs, discuss the features you’d be looking for in each factor.
