Study the positives and not so positives of living in a city like Perth. Which of these are objective measures and which are subjective? Is all of Perth the same? Not all parts of a city are equally liveable. In Perth, some areas have high incomes, big houses and great views of the sea or the Swan River. People living there also have good shops and fun places to go. But even nice suburbs can have poor housing and homelessness, though less so. 10.7.2 Perth is split into different areas with a clear north–south divide. The far north offers a coastal lifestyle with large blocks of land and improved road and rail infrastructure providing easy access to the CBD. Places like Joondalup attract students, retirees and families because they have many amenities .
