17.2 SkillBuilder activity INVESTIGATING By this point in your life, you should have discussed your future aspirations. This activity will allow you to research this further and think about the different dimensions of a job.
1. Investigate the different types of jobs available. You can use the government websites such as Your Career or Jobs and Skills Victoria. Choose a job that interests you, like an actor, doctor or photographer. 2. Click on your chosen job proýle and locate the expected wage/salary that this job pays. Write this down if it is stated. Do you think that this is a fair wage? How does it compare withother wages for other jobs? 3. Read the overview of the job. Explain how this job would contribute to making you feel part of a community. Would it involve you directly caring for a person or group of people? In what way is your chosen job important for society? 4. Explain three other beneýts that you imagine this job would bring to you.
