Hey guys, it’s me, Gavin! Lately, I have been running around outside and going on many new adventures. I am so excited because it is finally summertime! Summer is my all-time favorite season. One of my newest adventures is running the marina. It’s my thing now! My dad put me in charge of it, which is why it’s my new favorite activity. Every chance I get, I take all of the neighborhood kids out on the water because I want everyone to experience the magic of our lake. I take care of everything from organizing trips to making sure everyone stays safe. Being out on the lake feels like my home! I feel so happy outside with the sun beating down on me. I am very excited to share this with my cousins; we always have so much fun together. It will be the best family tradition we have ever had. The lake is like a giant playground. I have so much fun here, laughing and being in the sun with all of my family. There is so much to do. We can fish, ride the boat, or even go swimming.
My dad is so proud of me; he tells me it makes him happy to see me taking over the farm and the lake. My dad grew up on this lake and told me so many awesome stories about it when he was growing up. Seeing me follow in his footsteps makes him happy, and he remembers living his childhood all over again. My dad is my hero, and knowing he is proud of me makes me want to be the best I can be every day. I love to make memories and laugh with my siblings, cousins, and friends. Now, this is something I could do forever!

waterfall or a stream without the presence of a pond. By pumping water contained in a large, in-ground reservoir up and through the waterfall spillway, it can flow back down into the reservoir. Recirculating the water means there is no still water to clean, and kids and pets cannot create a mess, either. Even if your yard has limited space, you can still be the proud owner of a pondless waterfall. Aquascape’s pondless waterfalls are also energy-efficient, which makes them incredibly affordable to maintain. During any beautiful day in Florida, you can open the back doors and allow the sound of water to fill your home. We also highly recommend placing a pondless waterfall near your doors or windows so you do not miss out on its peaceful sounds indoors. And the most convenient part? Harnessing Your Cat for Outdoor Walks
Tired of Cat Naps? Try Cat Walks UNLEASH YOUR FELINE FRIEND’S OUTDOOR POTENTIAL
The cat is out of the bag: Dogs are not the only household pets you can walk on a leash. While cats are best known for galavanting out of the house to partake in their own adventures, they can also be taken on walks by their owners, much like their canine contemporaries. This is a great way to bond with your cat while helping both of you stay fit and ward off boredom. If you want to take your cat for a walk, here are two tips to help your stroll go smoothly. Use a Harness, Not Just a Leash While dogs may be content with you attaching a leash to their collar, cats tend to dislike it and can become uncooperative. They will do their best to shake off their collar — and can even end up choking themselves as they do so. A leash attached to a harness will allow them to explore more freely while stopping them from choking themselves. However,
make sure you are getting a high-quality cat harness rather than one made for dogs, as the specialized harnesses are both safer and more comfortable. Paws-itive Reinforcement If you want your cat to be cordial and cooperative on your neighborhood walk, then make sure to pack a lot of treats for them! Training your cat to walk on a leash will be a process, and in order to meow -ster the basics, you want to encourage good behavior with treats and positive reinforcement. If your cat learns that walking with you will be rewarded with a yummy snack, they are much more likely to go along for the walk! However, it is also important to realize that your cat may just not enjoy walking on a leash, and if so, it’s okay to leave them be. But for open-minded cats in need of fresh air, a walk can be just what you both need to deepen the pet-owner bond, burn calories, and explore your surroundings together!
