Though not marked as such on the grading label, an exceptional, higher-grade example of the 1952 Topps Frank House card with one of the more intriguing variations found in the set. Typically found with the Detroit Tigers graphic appearing in orange, red and yellow, a tough variation finds the tiger almost entirely in yellow. Simply stunning rookie card of Hall of Famer Willie Stargell from the condition-sensitive 1963 Topps issue. One of the two key cards to the issue, the card is part of the #4 1963 Topps master set on the PSA Set Registry, which we are breaking up in our next two auctions. This card was taken from a Topps Presentation Set by a longtime collector who purchased it at auction in the 1990s and incorporated the best cards into his own set. The result here is an amazingly sharp, well-centered example, with bright borders and razor sharp corners.
