Catcher/outfielder Jim McCauley had three years of major league experience with four teams, but is captured in five known poses with the Chicago Maroons of the Western Association, where he had a cup of coffee in 1888. Despite his brief stay there, McCauley is featured on no fewer than five poses in the N172 issue, plus this - a currently- undiscovered pose, taken by the Gehrig Studios of Chicago.
