Carolynn and Michael Friedman Presented by The Foundation of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation
One could say that it was bashert (meant to be) that Carolynn and Michael met (Michael’s mother introduced them) and built a beautiful life together that has centered around the importance of family, tzedakah and gratitude. They were both born and raised in Miami – Michael in North Miami Beach and Carolynn in Coral Gables. They were both born on Rosh Hashanah and following each of their births, their fathers attended Temple services while their mothers stayed in
the hospital. They also both adored their fathers, who were each their role models. Leading by example, they were humble men who came from nothing, worked hard, always tried their best and gave back to their community. This became the foundation for how Michael and Carolynn lived and how they raised their children. Long-time members of Temple Beth Am, Judaism played an important role in shaping their family traditions. Michael and Carolynn sent their three children – Jenny, Spencer and
