WELCOME TO WORD OF LIFE CAMPS Thank you for coming to Word of Life Camps! We trust you will have a wonderful camping experience at The Island, The Ridge, or The Ranch. It is our prayer that the ministry of God’s Word will be a blessing to all. We desire to serve you and your young people through fun activities, fellowship, and challenges from the great Bible teachers here this week.

During your time with us, we are delighted to offer several opportunities for relaxation and fun available only to youth leaders. While looking through this informational packet, begin to plan the times you will join us as we encourage one another and network together as co-laborers in youth ministry. Statistics on American culture today tell us the difficult issues youth once faced only as young adults are now being encountered at a much younger age. The alarming rate at which children are “forced” to grow up emphasizes the need for an effective youth ministry. Here at Word of Life our youth camps make an impact in the lives of students in several capacities. For young children at The Ranch, it is our prayer they will be encouraged early on to build godly habits and principles, allowing them to avoid much hardship in their lives. At The Ridge, we help middle school students navigate key decisions that will impact the rest of their lives.

For teens on The Island, these godly habits are reinforced as we help them to develop biblical guidelines by which to live their lives. We seek to minister to those who are dealing with difficult issues and are in need of the hope offered only through Christ. We as a staff team at Word of Life desire to be an encouragement as we work beside you in impacting your youth. We greatly appreciate your ministry to young people in showing them how to set a godly course to follow and in helping them to make key decisions while they are still young. Feel free to come by and spend time at The Island, The Ridge or The Ranch this week – you are always welcome to enjoy a meal, participate in activities, or simply spend time with your young people. We trust you will accept our invitation to be with us for as many activities as possible, and we look forward to hearing ideas, comments, concerns, and blessings as we enjoy fellowship with one another.
