RIDGEWATER, NJ — Hol- lister Construction Ser- vices (Hollister) , a leading full-service construction man- ager specializing in corporate, educational, healthcare, in- dustrial, retail, and residential construction, has completed work on an interior office fit-out for Dendreon Corp., a biotech- nology company that develops targeted therapies for cancer patients. For this project, de- signed by GenslerArchitects , Hollister renovated the entire third floor for Dendreon within a fully occupied eight-story building located at 200 Cross-

In ad- dition to a full-time schedule, Hollister worked nights and weekends to minimize tenant disruption and to complete the project within an aggressive nine-week deadline. Slated to be used for offices, conferences and training pur- poses, the 36,750 s/f space is now fitted out with sophisticat- ed materials and technologies designed to support Dendreon’s mission of developing and man- ufacturing new cancer treat- ment options. These include cutting-edge video conference installations featuring numer- ous SmartBoards; Ecophon sound-absorbing acoustical ceilings and wall systems; and McGrory Glass installations to maximize natural light. Dry erase IdeaPaint was used to turn wall surfaces into erasable canvases to foster brainstorm- ing and cross-disciplinary col- laboration. “As highly skilled construc- tion managers, we are always ready to mobilize the resources and expertise needed to meet the most challenging require- ments of our clients,” said Kieran Flanagan , president & co-founder of Hollister. “This accelerated fast-track project is a prime example of Hollister’s commitment to our clients, al- lowing Dendreon to resume its important work on time and with minimal disruption.” Hollister serves as general contractor, construction man- ager, and design builder for a broad spectrum of real estate clients in NJ and NY. Recently completed projects include the 38,528 s/f LEED Platinum facility for Lexus located in Parsippany; the 7,800 s/f fit-out for Jones Lang LaSalle ; and the 130,000 s/f interior fit-out for Pinnacle Foods located in Parsippany. n
