Rattay successfully ne- gotiated the renewal of a multi-year lease for Zenith Products Corporation at 499 Ships Landing Way (235,000) at the Twin Spans Business Park, HHA’s premier 21st Century business campus. Zenith provides storage and organizational products to retail household and busi- ness markets. These products include, but are not limited to, bathroom supplies and fixtures, cabinets, plumb- ing supplies, and decorative accessories. In a deft move,
Rattay also facilitated the multi-year renewal of Lyon, Conklin, & Company, Inc., a Ferguson Enterprise, at 200 Anchor Mill Rd. (61,000 s/f) at Twin Spans Business Park, thereby preserving local jobs and accommodating partially vacated space for new ten- ants in this building. Twin Spans Business Park is routinely considered the premier distribution campus in the mid-Atlantic region, featuring 2 million s/f of Class A commercial warehouse space spread across 135 acres of land along the Delaware River. Twin Spans offers
further superior logistics throughout the mid-Atlantic region and points beyond, with immediate access to I-95, I-295, I-495, and the Delaware Memorial Bridge. “Dan’s accomplishments were significant, again demon- strating his many attributes of grit, determination, in- novation, and a commitment to excellence,” said Thomas Hanna, HHA vice president and chief operating officer. In recognition of Rattay’s achievements, HHA will do- nate $3,000 in the name of CB Richard Ellis to The Delaware KIDS (Kids In
Distressed Situations) Fund. This charitable fund was es- tablished by HHA to support a wide array of causes for local youth, including spe- cialized support for hunger, shelter, and tuition scholar- ships. Special Points of Interest for 2013: Capping a tremen- dously successful year, the Hyatt Place Hotel officially opened in Dewey Beach on September 19, 2013, with Governor Markell and other dignitaries on hand. The Hyatt is part of the new Lighthouse Cove Re- sort complex (formerly Rud- dertowne), a multi-phased multi-million dollar mixed use redevelopment project owned by Dewey Beach En- terprises, with managing partner HHA. WarpEx, Inc., a global logis- tics network firm founded in 2008, expanded its relation- ship with HHA and shifted its growing operations from 10,885 s/f at the Delaware River Industrial Park (DRIP) to 31,000 s/f at 599 Ships Landing Way at the Twin Spans Business Park in New Castle. The Creekwood Cor- porate Center and immediate area experienced significant activity in 2013. HHA welcomed National Pump & Compressor to 900 West Basin Rd. (12,880 s/f) in New Castle. Marking its first foray into the northeast region, National Pump & Compressor provides pumps, compressors, dryers and related equipment to busi- nesses and municipalities. An expansion of the ware- house at 19 East Commons Boulevard made way for the addition of Worth & Com- pany (12,657 s/f), a full-ser- vice mechanical contracting firm; and the opening of a new regional store for John- stone Supply (9,600 s/f), a top nationwide wholesale HVAC distributor. Building upon the company’s redevelopment activity in the Newport In- dustrial Park and the emer- gence of a new generation of tenants, HHAwelcomed Café 24 (31,200 s/f) to complete the fit-out of the new building at 500 Water Street along with previous tenant Total Trax. HHAreconfigured 405 East Marsh Lane to accommodate the new regional headquar- ters of Compassionate Care Hospice (CCH)(3,000 s/f). n
