DAY 4 - MYSTERIES OF SAQQARA Start your day as a newly-engaged couple by visiting the archaeological site of Saqqara, about thirty kilometers south of Cair. Saqqara is the necropolis of Memphis and home of the Step Pyramid of Djoser, an architectural marvel and the first limestone structure ever built. Designed by the brilliant architect Imhotep, the pyramid is a testament to the ingenuity and advancement of ancient Egyptian civilization. The site also encompasses over 4000 beautifully colored tombs, mastabas, and smaller pyramids, where you can go inside and see the ancient Hieroglyphics engraved on its walls thousands of years ago. Your tour will include a special entry to one of the recently discovered tombs in Saqqara. Have lunch in the historic Mena house hotel overlooking the pyramids.

DAY 3 - DREAM PROPOSAL & PRIVATE DINNER AT GIZA PLATEAU Start the day with a relaxing morning as you enjoy the hotel facilities, have lunch, and get ready for the big surprise! At dusk, your private driver will pick you up at the hotel in a luxury SUV to drive you to the Great Pyramids of Giza. Located on the outskirts of Cairo, the drive to reach this awe-inspiring site takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive, you’ll ride by camel out to the desert, where you’ll have exclusive insider access after-hours to visit The Great Sphinx and Pyramids of Giza. Of the seven Wonders of the Ancient World, only the Great Pyramid of Giza, the oldest wonder, remains standing, with the others destroyed over the centuries. As you stand by the paws of the Sphinx, it is here that you ask the question of a lifetime! To celebrate the moment and an anticipated “YES!”, you’ll be driven up the hill for an outstanding view of the pyramids, where a private celebratory dinner in a private tent awaits. Complete with musicians, beautiful flowers, and a professional photographer to capture the moments of a lifetime, this is guaranteed to be a memory to cherish. Please note that archaeological sites in Egypt do not allow alcoholic beverages. If a Champagne Toast is imperative, an optional private dinner location can be arranged adjacent to the sound and light show area, still overlooking The Great Sphinx and Pyramids of Giza. This is a nice secondary option, but closer to the city and less private.

DAY 1 - VIP ARRIVAL Arrive at Cairo Airport and enjoy a VIP meet and assist where a WedLuxe Experiences representative will accompany you to your five-star hotel in Cairo. DAY 2 - ANTIQUITIES OF EGYPT, PRIVATE TOUR Visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, home of the most extensive collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts, with more than 120,000 items. You will stand face-to-face with the Mask of King Tutankhamun. Your tour will also include the royal mummies room inside the Egyptian museum. After lunch, discover old Islamic Cairo; take a romantic walk down El Muizz Street, which has the greatest concentration of medieval architectural treasures in the Islamic world. Explore the winding alleyways of the famous Khan El Khalili market.
