The reception was also held outdoors, on a plot of land overlooking the ocean. Event planners Soha Lavin and Jenny de Jong of COUNTDOWN EVENTS recognized from the get-go that the reception should be spectacular to match the view, yet not overpower the naturally beautiful sight lines. With that in mind, a plein-air “venue” was built from the ground up! Custom flooring and a stage were both installed, along with palm trees, specially planted within the area to finish off the custom environment. The mirrored-surface head table was framed by a dramatic, oversized custom-designed white arch. The design by COUNTDOWN EVENTS was achieved with the help of local vendors (including a team of engineers). The striking yet simple tabletop design featured hundreds of single- stemmed white roses in individual bud vases. Chandeliers hung from above, suspended in a floral installation. Along with an abundance of candles, the effect was dreamy and dramatic. The floral design was provided by ELENA DAMY with furniture and event rentals from DEL CABO WEDDINGS. OCEANSIDE Oasis
