Charity events to take part in- If music isn’t your thing then you can always take part in something which is going to be a good course. Cancer re - search has many events that take place every year and Portsmouth’s Pretty Muddy is one of them. Once again due to the pandemic charity events such as this were put on hold however on the 2nd July Pretty Muddy is coming back to Portsmouth. The event includes a 5k muddy obstacle course on Southsea Common. Whether facing the challenge alone or with family and friends (it's completely up to you) we guarantee you that you will have fun whilst making your ‘pretty’ way to the finish line.

Festivals and concerts- Due to pandemic the music industry has been put on hold for 24 months with many artists not being able to go on tour or perform at festivals as they have been cancelled/postponed. However, 2022 is going to be different! Artists such as Harry Styles, Christina Aguilera, Kanye and 50 $ent are taking to the stage once again to tour. UK festivals such as Read - ing, Glastonbury and Creamfeilds also due to go ahead from June with artists such as Billie Eilish, Arctic Monkeys, Jack Harllow and many more chart topping acts headlining each festival. Festivals are a great experience for teens as it brings people together through music. They aren't just for the music though, many festivals have fairs, markets and food events alongside so even if you don't know many bands performing you can still go to experience those ele - ments. For example Boomtown which is one of the Uk’s most popular festivals among young adults are known for the incredible experiences that they offer with different ‘towns’ within the festi - val, woodland stages, mazes, and hide & seek houses etc. You also get the experi - ence of camping on site which is another story altogether. So remember when you decide to go to a festival you aren't just going to see artists perform!
