Call of duty : Vanguard review by - Samuel Murphy-McGinn

A new thing in the weapon attachments are ammo types, it’s pretty standard. Instead of having Incendi - ary as a magazine option or FMJ being a weapon perk, you can instead equip it in your ammo slot. Each ammo type has a different effect from giving you more range to making you not appear on the minimap when firing. Aside from the perk changes and the ammo types, there is nothing majorly different the same attachments, just more of them. Overall the gunsmith changes are very good in my opinion. The only negative was things like the ammo types being slightly unbalanced at times and in certain modes but that is to be expected especially when people combine it with other attachments. The second mode is Champion’s Hill. This mode is a 2v2 where you have a certain amount of lives and have to fight against another team of 2, rotating between the two whoever has the most lives by the end wins. Gameplay-wise, again, it is just like Modern Warfare 2019 but with some slight improvements. Some - thing new, however, is Combat pacing. This feature allows you to choose how big you want your lobbies. to the past few games with the gunsmith system, you can still equip all of

Call of Duty had another of their yearly releases in Call of Duty: Vanguard. Coming out two years after the release of the best selling title in the series Call of Duty: Modern War - fare(2019) and a year after the mix received Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. It was the studio Sledge - Hammer Games’ turn

to release their game as the 18th instalment of the se - ries. Vanguard takes us even further

back than Black Ops Cold War

and puts us into the birth of the special forces just at the tail end of World War 2. I will separate this review into sections talking about the Campaign, Multiplayer and the Zombies modes. It is important to note that this review is being written at the time of the ending of the first DLC season of content and the beginning of the second DLC season. So things may be outdated as the year progresses. The multiplayer for the game, in my opinion, is rath - er good, if you enjoyed the multiplayer for Modern Warfare(2019) then you’ll enjoy this one. Vanguard multiplayer is Modern Warfare multiplayer except they improved on the systems that it added. For example, in the new gunsmith system, you can have 10 weapon attachments instead of 5 like in Cold War and Modern Warfare.
