AWT Labels & Packaging Bill Denzen has joined AWT Labels & Packaging as Vice President of Operations. Denzen has more than 28 years of experience in the printing industry, with most of that time spent in flexographic printing op- erations management. Denzen also brings with him extensive experience in finance and lean manufacturing methodology.
Denzen’s responsibilities at AWT will include operations management, business strategy development, sup- port of sales and marketing strategies, and continuous improvement efforts. He is based at AWT’s headquarters in Minneapolis, Minneapolis, and joined the company in September 2019. Luminer Lead Technician Heather Bookman has been promoted to Prepress Man- ager for Luminer, a label manufactur- er specializing in extended content labels for pharmaceutical ethical and OTC packaging, clinical trials and var- ious other narrow web applications for the cosmetics, F&B and chemi- cals sectors.After more than a decade with Luminer’s prepress team, Book- man will now head the department GEW Jennifer Heathcote has been appoint- ed as Business Development Manager at GEW, manufacturer of Arc and LED UV curing systems based in the UK. Heathcote has been in the UV equip- ment and applications business since 1998 and has worked with several UV suppliers. She has served as an Execu- tive Board Member for RadTech North

and oversee job assignments, scheduling, job prepress engineering and other high-leverage requirements.
Jennifer Heathcote
America and most recently has acted as a technical and commercial consulting advisor to the UV curing industry. Heathcote has authored a wide range of articles on the subject of UV curing, and in 2012 co-authoredThe UV LED Handbook. She earned her Bachelor of Sci- ence in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue Univer- sity and her MBA from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University.
