Koenig & Bauer Preston Neetzel has been promoted to the position of Director of Flexo Sales for Koenig & Bauer. In this new role, Neetzel will expand on his cur- rent direct sales responsibilities by providing his in-depth expertise to the firm’s CI flexo team in the United States and Canada. Printing Industries of America. Estab- lished in 1950, the Lewis Award pays homage to business leaders who have made major, long-term contributions to the graphic arts industry and have been a significant force in shaping the business of printed communications. The award was presented at the Ben Franklin Honor Society Award Dinner during the Fall Administrative Meet- ing of Printing Industries of America in Houston,Texas. Lawton is the President of Law- ton Printing, Inc. and File-EZ Fold- ers, Inc., both located in Spokane, Washington. She is the fourth gen- eration to join the family business, working full-time beginning in Jan- uary 1991 and becoming President in October 2001. In other news, June Crespo, Direc- People & Places Printing Industries Of America Laura Lawton has been named the 2019 Lewis Me- morial LifetimeAchievement Award recipient from the tor of Board &Affiliate Relations of Printing Industries of America, has been named the recipient of the 2019 Naomi Berber Memorial Award. This award honors outstanding women in the graph- ic communications industry for their exceptional re- cord of accomplishments, extraordinary contributions toward the development of the graphic communica- tions industry, and for having advanced the interests of the industry. Amongst Crespo’s career achievements are the fact that she is only one of two PIA employees to have twice been voted by her peers as the Peer Employee of the Year and has been recognized frequently with the PIA Employee of the Quarter Award by PIA’s Chief Executive Officer and was also awarded PIA Employee of the Year in 2013.
