Coordinator Home Support Services Permanent full-time position
The Prescott and Russell Community Services provide services to individuals and groups residing in Prescott and Russell who need help to function properly or to allow them to remain in the community in a suitable
environment. Main duties: • Coordinate all home services mandated by the Ontario Health Teams • Double up clients with volunteers for transport demand; • Assess the needs of clients and refer them to the proper resource; • Make entries of data and statistics in the current and upcoming computer system; • Make promotional presentations; • Manage and maintain proper functioning of all committees; • Recruit, train and manage volunteers. Education and skills : • College diploma or B.A. in social work, gerontology or related programs; • Have a minimum of 2 years experience with elderlies;
