When each person receives their own list, they have comments about perceptions of their roles, successes, and frustrations. After the feedback sheets are received, participants are given a chance to share with the group copies of their homework assignments (with descriptions of their roles, successes, and frustrations), reactions to the feedback they received, and any part of their roles they would like to change. Pung says she’s used the exercise with many work groups and it’s always well-received. Sometimes, she says, participants are surprised at how well their roles are understood by co-workers.
