Team-building Review Topical
❖ Purpose: To help participants learn to work as a team.
❖ Time Required: 10 to 15 minutes.
❖ Size of Group: Unlimited.
❖ Materials Required: Cards with the name of a body part written on them, prepared in advance by the trainer. ❖ The Exercise in Action: Janet Bradly, human resource consultant with Work Cover, emphasizes working as a team, a body, or a group with this exercise: Bradly gives each individual a card indicating what part of the body they are to represent: right leg, left leg, right arm, eyes, nose, etc. Then without speaking, they have to find the other people who are the same body part. Once that is accomplished, they move to step three—finding enough people to form a complete body, again without speaking. Finally, the body is whole and learns to walk, run, breathe, etc., and demonstrates the ability to do those tasks.
