MetsäBoard Selected for SALT! Supplements’ Innovative Packaging Norwalk, Connecticut based Metsä Board announced that its MetsäBoard Pro FBB Bright Paperboard was selected by SALT! Supplements for its innovative packaging design. SALT! Supplements, founded by athletes Alfonso Iovine and Kim Connor Streich, aim to create hydration products that meet the needs of athletes seeking effective and ap- pealing solutions. For their latest electrolyte stick sachets, the brand sought packaging that would deliver a premium experience from the moment of opening. To achieve this, print production agency COUSIN ap- pointed packaging design company Burgopak to devel- op a solution that balances visual impact, practicality, and shipping efficiency. Burgopak’s team selected its propri- etary Coupe pack, designed to minimize dead space. It presents the 15 supplement sticks at an angle and lying staggered for a visually engaging display. The materials and design were optimized for efficient material use and practical strength, while the dimensions meet Royal Mail’s large letter requirements, helping to reduce shipping costs and environmental impact.
