NEWSLETTER
Welcome all to the latest Newsletter from the MMMA
Since the launch of the MMMA Members Directory, it has been a great marketing tool for the membership to actively use the publication to market their company and or services. The Long awaited MMMA Metal working village within the MACH 2022, was a great success and members who exhibited recorded good footfall on their stands and very positive feedback from visitors. Both members and visitors appreciated the opportunity to gain valuable face to face contact once again following the problems associated with Covid. Mach 2022, which is the largest we have seen in some time, show casing all the specialities, technologies and capabilities of each member for our Metalworking sector. The MMMA council are busy now planning and negotiating a larger Metalworking Village for MACH 2024. We are proud of our organisation in so many ways in the ability to support our members for all different areas from HR issues through skills training for employed and also new talent through our members such as Make Uk etc. We meet every quarter to discuss what’s happening in the market place at interesting venues such as space centre, members’ and affiliate members’ offices, to make the meetings interesting on all levels. The open and frank discussions create some interesting debate on lots of levels sharing ideas and experiences. We are a non profit organisation, so everything is for the members and about the members. We are on all social media platforms, have a fully operational website and share our marketing across lots of different platforms. We supply endless opportunities for members to distribute their marketing, press releases, and end user stories absolutely free of charge as many times as they wish. Its your MMMA so use it. Together we will help each other grow.
The MACH exhibition is one of the key highlights of what being a member offers. MMMA membership and its ‘Metal Working Village’ is where we can make our platform of Metal work excellence known and demonstrate our core capabilities as an organisation. Our members have complete focus towards their own interests on this said platform which is then repeated across all social media platforms such as YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter etc - all part of our membership package. We work with all manner of training organisations which can bring many options to the table for new apprentice trainees through to already employed personnel who want to develop, grow and learn. Much of which is free of charge, allowing companies to keep up with demanding skills and new legislation such as the UKCE/CA rules. We are currently running information courses on this subject again, to help understand the process and what’s needed. We are sponsored by many other organisations who invest in us, and our is mission to supply an organisation which is solely for our member’s. Not only do they invest financially but also allow significant discounts towards any of their portfolio, what ever that may be. The future is key to our success and indeed our members’ success as we are now putting in firm roots to strengthen our foundations which we want to grow! I do hope you enjoy this Members Newsletter and support us in our future outlook. We look forward to welcoming all new members that would like to join us along our journey.
Best Regards, Adrian Haller Chairman MMMA
