Katherine Rose Banzhaf April 16, 1986 - January 13, 2013 In Remembrance of...
Kate was an amazing and beautiful young lady who loved nature, gardening, outdoor adventures, dancing and all types of animals. Growing up in Texas, she always looked forward to family vacations in Colorado where many hiking and skiing adventures formed her love for the state that she chose for her adult life. A graduate of UCCS, she was an extraordinary teacher who hoped to one day work at the Black Forest School in the Woods. Kate had an amazing ability to cope with life’s disappointment and always forged on when faced with difficulties. She is missed dearly by her family and friends. The world is a little less complete without her wonderful smiling face and huge loving heart.
In her memory please contemplate the following:
“Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass…. It is about learning how to dance in the rain.”
