Talena Jodee Cabot February 25, 1997 ~ March 6, 2021 In Remembrance of...
Talena was a force to be reckoned with from day 1. She has always had a drive to do what she wanted and help others at the same time accomplish their dreams. Her family and friends meant the world to her. When she walked into a room, everyone knew she was there. She would light up a room the minute she walked in. Talena didn't have children because she was driven to accomplish her goal of being a police officer before starting her family however she loved her dog, Kilo, like her son and spoiled him rotten. As a family, we include sunflowers as a tribute to Talena because yellow was her favorite color and she had always remembered being sung to her, "You are my sunshine!" as a child. The irony of Talena being a big advocate against driving under the influence and her being killed by a person doing just that has caused all of us to be driven to push everyone we know, and don't know, to not drive while impaired.
