Nats split the Yuletide weekend

Assists came fromFrancis Araujo, Anthony Laprade, Maxime Roussel, Jérémy Roy, and Steven St-Jean. Yanick Gosselin guarded the Vikings net. Last two games for December for Rockland sees the Nats playing host for the entire Dec. 19 weekend with first the Embrun Panthers on Saturday at 3:15 p.m. at the Clarence-Rockland Arena and then Sunday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. with the Cumberland Bandits.

Rangers vs. Senators It’s the week before Christmas and this Friday the Gloucester Rangers and the Ottawa Junior Senators take their Christmas scoring wish list onto the ice at the Clarence-Rockland Arena. The Rangers and Sens butt heads when the puck drops at 7:30 p.m. to decide who’s going to get an extra point for a gift to their season record in the Central Canadian Hockey League. Catch the Junior A home action for the finish of the year until the first week of January when the Rangers host the Pembroke Lumber Kings. – Gregg Chamberlain At home, Sunday, Clifford, Johnson, Mar- tel, and Nikolas Spirito fired in pucks for the Nats with assists from Brunet, Martel, and The Rockland Nationals took a hit on the road but they enjoyed a home ice winwith their latest two games of the season in the National Capital Junior Hockey League. The Nats sawmirror-version scores on the boards at the end of their latest encounters with the Gatineau-Hull Volant and the Papi- neauville Vikings.The final score was 4-3 in both games but the Volant had the win in last Friday’s road match for the Nats while Rockland enjoyed clipping Papineauville in Sunday’s home session. Solo shots for the Nats against the Vo- lant came from Jeff Brett, Benoît Brunet, and Patrick Johnson with goal assists from MatthewClifford, Vincent Martel, Matthew Wilson, and Patrick Sevigny. Jonathan Came- ron defended the Rockland net all through the match. Punching in points for Gatineau-Hull wereMartin Arnold, Alexis Gauthier, Denis Gratton, and Marc-Olivier Lafrenière, with assists from Arnold, Gauthier, Lafrenière, and Étienne Tremblay. JustinMalette-Trot- tier guarded the Volant goal.
