Carl Lund received his Ph.D. in Leadership with a mathematics concentration in August 2021 and his M.A. in religious studies in April. He is currently an associate professor of professional education at Bemidji State University. 1996 Lynn Anderson Severson is now the chief operations officer of Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby, Minnesota. Daniel Singer has served as the cantor of Stephen Wise Free Synagogue in New York City since July 2006. 1997 Rachel Bakken Jackson is the new principal for Myers- Wilkins Elementary School in Duluth. 2000 John Gidley is the executive director of the Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center in Superior. Amy Friborg Graves started her own business: AMG Innovative Consultants. Melinda Crowley is now the superintendent for the La Crescent-Hokah (Minnesota) School District. 2001 Jen Juve Bird was promoted to assistant dean of students at UW-Superior in 2021. In addition, since 2018, she has become a certified fitness instructor, certified personal trainer and a national diabetes prevention program coach working at the Superior Douglas County Family YMCA. 2002 Marsha Francis Lue was appointed to the Duluth Human Rights Commission in 2021 and was recently chosen to serve as chair. In September, she also began her new role as the director of Student Support Services at UWS.

1988 Beth Moravek Tomscak is employed by CEDA and is the Lake City port authority director in Lake City, Minnesota, concentrating on community and business development with an emphasis on entrepreneurship, business growth and retention. 1990 Terry Raivala has retired and resides in Mesa, Arizona. 1992 Amy Fruik Libertoski and Ken Libertoski ’92 are getting close to retirement. Ken has worked 28 years at the Food and Drug Administration and Amy is a CPA/ financial advisor. Ed Chestolowski is a CPA with RSM US and lives in Rochester, Minnesota. 1993 Lisa Weiss has been working for Arrowhead Regional Corrections for 26 years as a probation officer and says, "Thank you, UWS." 1995 Mark Eggert has worked as an audio-visual technician at Macalester College since 2013 where he manages technology throughout the campus. His daughter currently attends Macalester and his son recently completed high school. Heather Evavold Opsahl is the VP of operations for Spectrum Health Companies - Carefree Living, overseeing 13 assisted living and memory care homes in Minnesota. Tanya Wick Milanowski is still working at Saint Croix Falls School District as school psychologist. She reports, "We have been in-person these last two years and our students continue to learn!"
