How does Lanluma work?

Lanluma is an injectable poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) collagen stimulant. You can use it to activate natural collagen in two ways: either to increase fullness and add volume in both face and body; or to create a more youthful appearance by helping the body naturally correct medium to deep facial lines.

Why is it different? Lanluma isn’t the same as other fillers, because it doesn’t simply ‘fill up’ areas like HA fillers. In fact, PLLA particles get to work deep within the skin to activate the body’s own natural collagen response – so the volume created is long-lasting: injectable PLLA, Lanluma’s main ingredient, provides results that appear gradually and last more than two years.*

Step by step:

1 . Identify the area for treatment.

2. Lanluma is injected into the body with a needle or a cannula. Lanluma (our PLLA formula plus sterilised water) fills the area.

3. Within days, the water is absorbed.

4. Lanluma begins to gradually promote collagen production.

5. After about 6

6. The PLLA particles are gradually broken down over time.

weeks, the patient begins to really see an improvement.

Injectable PLLA, Lanluma's main ingredient, provides results that last more than two years.* If more volume is required, top-up procedures are safe and effective.
