GENI PUJA Fire Blessing
Inspired by personal experience, Resort Priest Ajik Ngurah created this ritual to seek protection from the God of Fire, and eliminate negative energy and impurities from the body and soul. Taking place at the Resort Temple – which contains a 17th Century shrine and has special significance to the Jimbaran community – the experience begins with lighting of five coloured tiki torches that symbolise different parts of the body. Feel the warmth and natural strength of the fire as Ajik Ngurah leads you in Sanskrit mantra chanting, meditation and breathing exercises to direct the flow of energy within the body. To conclude the ritual, you will be blessed with holy water and flowers which symbolise purity, to refresh and protect your spirit.
