Accommodation Requests The City of Dublin’s Division of Recreation Services is committed to providing inclusive, welcoming camp experiences for children of all abilities. All campers are expected to follow the behavior expectations outlined in our Camp Parent Handbook to help create a safe, positive and respectful experience for everyone. We encourage families of campers with support needs, including, but not limited to autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, sensory challenges, emotional or behavioral disorders, developmental disabilities and physical disabilities, to contact us before registering to discuss which camp setting may be the best fit. To begin the accommodation process, please contact Brittney Hanks, Adaptive Recreation Coordinator, at bhanks@dublin.oh.us. Together, we will engage in an open and thoughtful conversation about how we can best support your child’s needs at camp. When applicable, this may include accommodations based on an IEP, 504 Plan or Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP). To ensure the right support is in place, all plans must be finalized before the start of camp. While every effort is made to promote inclusion, we also understand that camp environments vary and some may not be the right fit for every child.
