Family Fishing Fun Barbara Ray
Dive into family fun at our exciting aquatic egg hunt! Join us for a splashing good time in the leisure pool, where colorful eggs await your discovery. Swim and collect eggs for a chance to win prizes! After your aquatic adventure, let your creativity flow at our self-led arts & crafts station, where you can craft a beautiful spring-themed keepsake. Goodie bags filled with treats are also provided! The registration fee is per child participant; families receive one set of materials for each registered child. Parent participation required. Swimming Rules: Children 4 years old and younger must be supervised by an adult in the water, within reach at all times. Children 9 years old and younger must have a parent present in the pool area at all times. All children wearing a flotation device must be within arm’s reach of an adult in a swimsuit at all times.
Join Ms. Barbara Ray, our Nature Education Coordinator, for a fun, family evening of fishing! Get up close and hands-on with nature as we practice techniques to catch fish, including how to properly cast and catch. Equipment and supplies are provided; however, families are welcome to bring their own poles. All participants who plan to actively engage (e.g., fish) must register and pay the associated fee. The registration fee is linked to the supplies provided for the program. Parent or provider participation is required for individuals under the age of 18, as well as for participants who may require supervision or support throughout the duration of the program.
