Schedule a Nature-Based Scout Program Is your scout troop working toward earning a Nature Badge? The City of Dublin can help! We offer small group programs led by our Nature Education Coordinator, Barbara Ray, designed specifically to meet badge requirements. We work with your group to design a customized program focused on ecology, conservation, wildlife stewardship and supporting related badgework. Our city parks are our preferred classrooms, providing the ideal setting for nature-based learning, but we can tailor programs to fit your group’s schedule and needs. To provide the best experience possible, we ask scout leaders to contact us at least one month in advance to allow adequate time for our team to coordinate the logistics of the program. For more information on available topics and opportunities, visit: DublinOhioUSA.gov/recreation-services/parks/nature-education To schedule your scout program, contact: Rachel Keitz Recreation Coordinator rkeitz@dublin.oh.us We’ll take care of the details and schedule our Nature Education Coordinator, Barbara Ray, to guide your troop through a fun and educational experience. Group flat rate: $50 (10 or fewer scouts) $75 (11 or more scouts)

one-of-a-kind outdoor experience at Ferris- Wright Park, one of Central Ohio’s most historically significant sites. Ancient Ohio: America 250 blends active adventure with immersive learning, exploring the survival skills, tools and traditions that shaped early life in Ohio — from the ancient Hopewell culture to pioneer families like the Wright-Holder’s. Located on land that was once home to the Hopewell culture over 2,000 years ago, Ferris-Wright Park preserves some of the region’s most remarkable earthworks — geometric mounds that reflect the advanced understanding and organization of this ancient culture. Centuries later, the site became home to Dublin’s earliest settlers, including Joseph Ferris, whose farmhouse stood as the first framed house in the area. With its restored earthworks, historic homestead sites and flowing creek, the park provides a rich and authentic backdrop where young adventurers can engage with the layers of Ohio’s past.
