American Red Cross Babysitting Washington Township Fire Dept.

The City of Dublin’s Division of Recreation Services partners with the Washington Township Fire Department to offer American Red Cross Babysitting courses throughout

the year. This course educates young individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly care for children and infants. Participants learn how to develop leadership skills, start and manage a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe, help children behave appropriately and provide basic childcare. The class also includes a Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification. Students receive a link to complete the online portion of the certification approximately two weeks before the class. Babysitter’s training and the hands-on skills session for pediatric first aid and CPR take place in person. For more information and to register for a class, visit WTWP.com/classes-programs/classes.
