SWIM LESSON TIME FRAME • Parent and Child & Preschool: 30 minutes with 15 minutes of exploration • Learn to Swim, Teen & Youth Aquatic Conditioning Classes: 45 minutes • Adult Classes: 1 hour RATIOS Instructor-to-student ratios are closely monitored to ensure the safety of all participants and quality programming. Parent/Child 2-3: 1:10* Parent/Child 4: 1:4* Preschool Levels 1-3: 1:4 Learn to Swim Levels 1, 2 & 3: 1:6 Learn to Swim Levels 4 & 5: 1:8 Youth & Adult Aquatic Conditioning: 1:8 Teen & Adult Levels 1-2: 1:6 Adaptive 1:4* *Pairs indicated require a parent/guardian/caregiver in the water to help aid with the skills of the swimmer.

Adaptive Aquatics classes are geared for children with special needs between 2-12 years of age and adolescents/adults ages 13 and older. This program focuses on water safety, self-confidence, and other physical developmental skills. With the assistance of aquatics staff, participants work on their swimming abilities and comfort level in the water. These classes are taught in a non-competitive environment, allowing each child to progress at their own pace. In addition to requiring a caregiver in the water and present at each lesson, our program provides an Adaptive Aide present at each class to help individualize the group swim lesson experience.
