[46334] £175 Florence Harrison was a Australian illustrator who relocated to Lon- don in the 1920s, clearly influenced by the Pre-Raphaelite and Art Nouveau movements. She worked with watercolours to create dreamy scenes, characterised by thick outlines and strong decorative elements. Her work spanned from illustrations of her own poetry for children, to fairy tales and Romantic poets such as Rossetti, Tennyson and Morris.
