A fine copy with previous owner’s name on the free front endpaper, in a very good dustwrapper indeed with fading to the spine and a small, short closed tear to the head of the spine. [46111] £225 A beautiful private press edition of Farnie’s 1857 golf classic, intro- duced by Bernard Darwin. John O’Connor studied wood-engraving under Paul Nash and later exhibited at the Royal Academy. Today, his work can be seen in the Tate Gallery and the British Museum in London.
