The number of townhome listings in Richmond rose to 441 in April, 12% above the previous month and a 79% increase vs April 2018. The 42 townhome sales in April were 56% above March but a drop of 45% vs last year. The townhome sales-to-listings ratio increased to 10%, as Richmond’s townhome market remained in buyer’s market territory. The benchmark price for townhomes in April was $780,200, 1.4% below March and 7% lower than in April 2018. The average sold price was $846,516 (virtually unchanged from March) with an average PSF sales price of $574 (0.7% above March).
