AICC Launches Savings Program For Members AICC, The Independent Packaging Association, is bringing members savings through a new affinity partnership with AICC member, Procure Analytics. Procure Analytics, a group purchasing consultan- cy that manages indirect categories for more than 1,000 member companies with $1.5 billion in con- trolled spend, can offer members strategic sourc- ing, cost reduction, and tail spend management. Complex Challenges Procure Analytics was founded to address the complex challenges of a frequently ignored indirect spend category – Maintenance, Repair and Opera- tions Supplies (MRO). The nature of MRO supplies (millions of SKUs, thousands of individual transactions, hundreds of potential suppliers and the relatively small cost for individual products) make MRO an under-managed category within most organizations. Procure Analytics has since broadened its port- folio of savings programs to address a number of other under-managed indirect spend categories in- cluding freight services, pallets, uniforms and rental garments, corporate travel, and many others.

The report provides information on FPA Commu- nications; the FPA Advocacy Program, on both the Federal and State levels; the activities of the FPA Environmental, Health, and Safety Committee and industry-specific regulatory and legislative issues that are on the committee’s radar; the activities of the Sterilization Packaging Manufacturers Council (SPMC); the activities of the Emerging Leadership Council (ELC); and the FPA Flexible Packaging Fi- nancial Benchmarking Program, which includes several surveys and reports that assist FPA mem- bers in making informed business decisions. Information on FPA events such as the Annual Meeting is detailed in the report, in addition to the FPA Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards Pro- gram. The report also provides a look at “What’s to Come” for the Sustainability, Advocacy, Industry Data, and Communications programs.
