EPL Upgrades Flexo Platemaking With DuPont India-based specialty packaging company EPL has upgraded its flexo platemaking process with Du- Pont Cyrel Fast thermal system that processes flex- ographic printing plates without the use of solvents or water. EPL will implement the Cyrel Fast thermal workflow across its global manufacturing sites in North America, South America, Europe and Asia. This initiative from EPL is one more step toward its sustainability commitment. Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil-based converter Label- Press lndustria e Comercio da Amazonia has signed an agreement for the company to become a 100 percent subsidiary of the All4Labels Global Packag- ing Group. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approval. Terms and conditions of the transaction were not disclosed. With this transaction, All4Labels extends its pres- ence to the north of Brazil and is now present in the highly industrialized zone of Manaus. LabelPress Joins All4Labels Group The LabelPress CEO, Juvino Tavares, will contin- ue to manage the business. The Group’s strategy of expanding into growing markets, regions and technologies with renowned partners is being con- tinued and underlines the company’s sustainable growth strategy in the packaging industry.
