Recombination Network Analysis Map the flow of recombina- tion within your organization: ○ Identify key “combinatorial nodes”—individuals or teams particularly skilled at recognizing recombination opportunities ○ Measure the connectivity between different knowledge domains within your organization ○ Assess how quickly recombination insights spread across the organization ○ Track the diversity of participants in recombination initiatives
Use social network analysis tools to visualize and quantify these pat- terns over time.
5. Coherence Alignment Measurement Regularly assess the alignment between recombination activities and organizational coherence: ○ Purpose Alignment : For each major recombination ini- tiative, measure alignment with organizational purpose (Score 1-10) ○ Identity Consistency : Assess how well recombinations maintain consistent organizational identity while en- abling evolution (Score 1-10)
