Contribution Diversity System
This framework helps organizations recognize and integrate diverse forms of contribution:
1. Define contribution archetypes : Identify distinct ways individ- uals create value: ○ Creators: Generating new ideas and approaches ○ Connectors: Building relationships and integrating perspectives ○ Cultivators: Developing people and capabilities ○ Catalysts: Driving action and implementation 2. Create archetype validation methods : Establish how each type of contribution is recognized: ○ Specific metrics appropriate to each archetype ○ Peer recognition systems tailored to different contributions ○ Narrative evaluation approaches for less quantifiable impacts 3. Design complementary teaming approaches : Develop meth- ods for combining different archetypes: ○ Team composition guidelines for balancing contribu- tion types ○ Collaborative processes that leverage diverse strengths ○ Recognition systems that highlight complementary value creation
