Eden Windows Expands With A Second Showroom in Kent

product offering, which is unique in Kent and the southeast of England. One of the showroom’s highlights is its market- leading collection of Forté composite doors, which is the largest of its kind in the area. Stewart adds: “Forté doors are highly engineered and offer a better ‘U’ value than any other composite option on the market. There’s also a wide range of styles, colours and glazing options available, which have really captured the imagination of homeowners in the area. No other range offers as much flexibility and customisation without sacrificing performance or quality. “Our exclusive product range has really resonated with homeowners as orders and sales have increased year-on-year. Now with a great location inside the M25, we have a fantastic opportunity to grow further still and reach new customers in nearby towns such as Bromley, Bexleyheath, and Welling. CEO of Conservatory Outlet, Greg Kane said: “This showroom features the most forward-thinking technology and products in the industry. The opening of this second site is a landmark moment for Eden, and I’d like to congratulate Stewart and the rest of the Eden team on this tremendous achievement. “Showrooms play a crucial role in our sector, offering homeowners an experience and security they can’t find anywhere else.”

Leading South East home improvement company Eden Windows is celebrating a significant milestone in company history. After a period of sustained growth, the Conservatory Outlet Premium Retailer has recently opened the doors of a brand-new showroom in Orpington. The impressive facility, located next to the Springvale Retail Park, has been fully refurbished to showcase its extensive range of windows and doors, featuring products from its exclusive Extreme, Envisage, Eclipse and Forté collections. Visitors also have the opportunity to browse a broad range of full-size living spaces, including modern extensions, conservatories and orangeries. Stewart Kelly, Eden’s Director, commented: “The new showroom is an important step for the

company as it continues to grow. We’re delighted with the space, and by working closely with both Conservatory Outlet and Joedan, we’ve created a space that provides visitors with everything they need.” The new Orpingtom showroom is Eden’s second site and complements the firm’s existing hub in Gillingham. A six-figure sum has been invested in the showroom, which is part of a wider strategy to help grow the business further in the coming years. In addition to featuring window, door, and living space displays, the showroom also houses a studio that puts the customer front and centre of the design process. Contrary to the wider market performance, Eden has increased its sales by an impressive 30% over the last three years. Key to that has been its

to outperform the competition. Plus, bringing everyone together gives different businesses the chance to learn from each other and engage in meaningful conversation.” Mervyn Stanley, of ERG Scotland, added: “It was another fantastic event. The topics covered by Conservatory Outlet and its panel of speakers were all extremely informative. We were all provided with some food for thought and plenty of ideas that I can take back to ERG and action straightaway. “Partnering with Conservatory Outlet allows us to attend these events and work with some of the best marketers in the industry. By coming here, we get insights and analysis about products, services and the wider market that isn’t available anywhere else. It’s a real one-of-a-kind event.” Importantly, the event comes at a time when Conservatory Outlet’s Premium Retail Network is posting strong growth figures for yet another year. After bucking market trends throughout 2024 to increase both sales and leads by double-digit percentages, Conservatory Outlet’s associated retailers are up 17% year-on-year. And that’s against the backdrop of others in the industry openly talking about how the sector is continuing to ‘cool off’. “It’s an exciting time to be part of the Conservatory Outlet Network,” adds Greg. “Both leads and sales are up across the Network and we’re working hard to ensure that all our Premium Retailers are able to improve their market share year after year.” Sales Continue To Soar As Conservatory Outlet Hosts Its Sales & Marketing Conference At The Etihad Stadium

Leading installers from across the United Kingdom gathered at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester to attend Conservatory Outlet’s latest Sales & Marketing Conference. Held every year and run exclusively by Conservatory Outlet, retailers were given the opportunity learn from the manufacturer’s marketing team, partner agency and other speakers about the latest trends impacting marketing and sales within the fenestration sector. The day-long conference covered a variety of topics including unique, product-first lead generation campaigns, planned developments to the manufacturers Extreme and Envisage suite of windows and doors, and an insight into key market trends. Reflecting on the event, Conservatory Outlet’s CEO, Greg Kane, commented: “This year’s event has been our highest-attended yet, with over 50 Directors and senior Managers from high- performing retail businesses joining us at the home of Manchester City.” “We put a great deal of effort into delivering an engaging itinerary that covers a wide range of topics relating to sales and marketing. I truly believe that it’s events such as this that set us apart. Conservatory Outlet is more than a manufacturer; we’re there to help ambitious businesses grow, and this event is key to that. “By providing seminars and data-driven presentations on everything from market trends to the continued importance of showrooms, we can give our customers the strategies they need

Garnalex’s Sheerline Range Recognised With A King’s Award For Innovation 2025

proprietary thermal technology was highlighted. Aside from offering greater thermal efficiency than legacy polyamide systems, easily achieving Part L compliance with competitive U-values, it also allows installers to fix through the optimum area profiles as it’s less brittle than polyamide. Thermlock® is also a key ingredient in Garnalex’s market leading agility and ability to deliver consistently on its 5-day lead-time promise, as it allows finished profiles to be assembled close to dispatch. It has differentiated itself in a competitive industry by focusing on product innovation, its customers and first-class service, and delivering on its promises. This approach has enabled it to blaze a trail where others have lost momentum. Roger Hartshorn, Garnalex’s CEO, said: “It is a privilege and an honour to be able to share the news that Garnalex has won the prestigious King’s Award for Innovation. The fenestration industry has always been a competitive industry, where accolades such as this make a real difference.” “Not only will it enable us to continue to stand out in an increasingly crowded space, but it highlights the far-reaching impact we’re having as a company. We look forward to celebrating and bringing even more industry-changing innovations to market,” he added. The King’s Awards for Enterprise, previously known as The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, were renamed in 2023 to reflect His Majesty The King’s desire to continue the legacy of HM Queen Elizabeth II’s by recognising outstanding UK businesses. The Award programme, now in its 59th year, is the most prestigious business award in the country, with successful businesses able to use the esteemed King’s Awards Emblem for the next five years. Garnalex can officially announce it has received a coveted King’s Award for Innovation 2025 for its groundbreaking Sheerline aluminium windows and door range. With only 46 businesses being recognised in the innovation category this year it is testament to how game changing the Sheerline system has been. This award reflects the significant contribution and advances the company has made within the fenestration industry. Although Sheerline was launched during the global pandemic, the challenging external landscape has not stopped it from achieving success. Two innovative aspects in particular were highlighted by the awards process. Firstly, Sheerline’s patented construction method, which not only reduces waste and locks in quality, but also results in better looking windows with less misalignment in frames for improved aesthetic appeal. In addition, Thermlock®, Sheerline’s proven

Sheerline’s Prestige Grille Shroud offers a host of benefits for fabricators and homeowners. It’s the ideal alternative to unsightly exterior plastic trickle vents that can warp over time and fade in the sun. The Prestige Grille Shroud differs from traditional trickle vents as it runs the full width of the window, enabling its integral head drip to protect the edge of the sash that sits below. It also means they’re less likely to be damaged or cause damage to other frames whilst in transit. As well as being less obtrusive, Sheerline’s Prestige Grille Shroud is more aesthetically pleasing than standard options. It provides an architecturally refined yet practical solution, hiding the flat aluminium grille that sits under the shroud. Perfectly colour matched with the frames, it blends in seamlessly with the rest of the window. It’s available in the full Sheerline colour range. Jon Crohill, Sheerline’s Design Project Manager, said: “We’ve developed a discreet solution to a divisive topic within the industry. Regardless of how you feel about trickle vents, many properties need them for Part F compliance, so why not choose the most stylish one.” Find out more about Sheerline’s Prestige Grille Shroud by calling 01332 978 000 or emailing info@sheerline.com

Whiteline Manufacturing recently held a successful event at Lingfield Racecourse for its retail customers. During the day, members of the Whiteline team expressed confidence in the company’s long-standing stability and highlighted the company’s strong customer-first approach to support and aftersales. Aside from providing an opportunity to catch up with the brand’s key customers, it was the ideal platform to launch Define – an exclusive new chamfered sash that has been developed in partnership with Sheerline. Define is available across Classic windows and the Classic Heritage Door, as well as Prestige windows and doors, including bi-folds. something unique to the market. The company invested in both Sheerline and their own unique variation of the standard range to turn their vision into a reality. Not only does this launch highlight what can be achieved when research and development teams collaborate, but it also reflects Sheerline’s commitment to developing unique, innovative, aesthetically-pleasing solutions with its customers. During the open day, customers had the opportunity to see the exclusive Define sash and also get to know the Sheerline range. This included the Classic Heritage Door and the award-winning S1 Roof Lantern – the only lantern on the market to have Secured by Design status – both of which are set to be popular this summer’s renovation season. Louise Evans, Whiteline’s Group Managing Director, said: “This latest product update demonstrates our relentless focus on continuous innovation, and that we’ve got an exciting year ahead. Aluminium Innovations From Winkhaus Uk

At this year’s FIT Show, Winkhaus UK has launched a host of new aluminium innovations including the launch of the new primePort fitting system for sliding balcony doors and windows, and the launch of two key additions to the aluPilot modular aluminium window fitting system. Whether its tilt and slide, retract-slide or lift and slide fittings, primePort’s innovative fitting solution offers unrivalled ease of fabrication and use, adapting perfectly to various materials such as aluminium, timber, or PVC-U. Ideal for old and new residential buildings, multi-family houses, high-rise buildings or commercial and industrial properties.

primePort AS: Minimum space required for maximum view Winkhaus has developed the new primePort AS retract-slide fitting especially for installation situations in urban environments. This fitting allows generous window openings without the open sash taking up space in the room. The primePort AS’s unique retract-slide mechanism keeps the window tightly closed, even when high wind loads act on the facade. This also makes it suitable for use in sliding doors and windows in high-rise and multi-occupancy buildings. All moving fitting parts are concealed in the window

frame, no additional cover profiles are required for the Winkhaus technology, which gives primePort AS doors and windows an extremely elegant appearance. primePort AS impresses with its versatility and is suitable for a wide range of sliding door and window formats and weights: The standard version carries up to 200kg, with tandem bogies the maximum sash weight is increased to 250kg. Like all Winkhaus systems, primePort AS is also designed to be user-friendly. The central locking system can be configured from the activPilot modular system, supplemented by a few additional elements. Thanks to the roller-guided closing mechanism, the window can be operated with little effort. The low number of coupling points simplifies installation. The primePort AS can optimise the functionality and security of the sliding element with an additional comfort component. The “Softclose” function ensures a convenient pull-in for the retract-slide fitting. This ensures that the sash closes smoothly to the desired position. Thanks to the individual arrangement of the frame part, the Softclose feature can also be converted into a safety stop function. The “Safetystop” function

includes braking the sash in the desired position. This can prevent injuries such as trapping limbs. aluPilot Enhancements Alastair Wheeler - Aluminium Systems Manager at Winkhaus commented “aluPilot’s modular system approach already provides system designers a variety of options to meet the requirements of Approved Document M (ADM) Lifetime Homes, now further expanded with the introduction of these additions to the range. The first, aluPilot Comfort OBALK, allows variable handle positioning, including for users who need a lower operating position that meets the design requirements of Part M of building regulations. The second launch is Child Safety OBALKS, a new 100mm safety restriction solution incorporating two turn modes and tested to EN 13126-5, ideal for multiple applications across our customers projects, including apartment balconies.” For further information and to learn more about the added value products, services and solutions Winkhaus UK provide for aluminium system houses and fabricators, please visit www.winkhaus.co.uk/en or contact marketing@winkhaus.co.uk
