Growing Together With You
A New Year’s Guide to Time Management Fun! Time to Boss Your Calendar Around
Hey there, welcome to 2024! This year, we’re breaking all the rules when it comes to attorney newsletters. Rather than giving you legal jargon no one cares about (including me), let’s do something together. To be honest, we all have our own demons we deal with. It’s easier to conquer them together than it is to go it alone, so let’s commit to making 2024 our best year ever. Are you in? Good, let’s start with a topic that every attorney has trouble with: time management! Because, let’s be real, adulting is hard, and no handbook I have ever found has helped. So, throw away the party favors and roll up your sleeves because it is time to get dirty. Why Time Management Matters Time is like an awesome limited-edition vinyl record — scarce and precious. Everyone gets the same 24 hours every day, but it’s
what we do with that time that changes our lives. Are you managing your time? Or does it feel like time is managing you? Well, that’s like spinning that record and creating the soundtrack to your life. At The Dellutri Law Group, we get that life gets crazy, but trust us, a well-organized schedule can make all the difference. Before you can organize your business schedule, ask yourself: How do I want my life to be? Decide what is important to you. Ask questions like: What time do I want to get home from work? What time do I want to start working? What time do I want to work out? The answers will set the tone for the life you want to lead. Once you design your perfect life, you can design your work life. This master plan will allow you to fit in what you want to fit in as well as say no to time-sucking things that don’t fit in. The Power of Taking Charge Picture this: You, with a cape, flying through your to-do list like a superhero. Taking charge of your schedule isn’t just about being a time warrior; it’s about reducing stress and having more time for the good stuff, like reading a good book. Strategies for Time Management Bliss 1) Prioritize Your Personal Tasks: Like choosing between tacos or pizza, prioritize what matters most and decide what doesn’t matter. Tackling the big tasks first thing in the morning sets the tone for a victorious day. 2) Set Realistic Goals: We all want to conquer the world, but Rome wasn’t built in a day. Set achievable goals to avoid feeling like
you’re running a marathon in stilettos. If you hit the goals easily, adjust them. If they are too difficult, adjust them. It’s all about the little victories throughout the day. 3) Embrace Tech Magic: Let’s be real, we’re in the 21st century. Apps are our sidekicks! Find your favorite time-managing apps and let them do the heavy lifting. 4) Delegate Like a Boss: You’re not Wonder Woman or Superman. It’s okay to let others save the day, too. Delegate tasks and watch the magic unfold. Trust people to do their best work. 5) Breaks and Self-Care: Breaks are like the commercials between your favorite TV show — necessary. Take ’em! And don’t forget to indulge in some self-care; you deserve it! 6) Embracing Change Together: We’re in the business of making your life a little brighter. So, let’s conquer time management together! Whether you’re juggling personal injuries from a car accident or planning your estate like a boss, let’s make this year the most organized, fun, and hilarious yet! Get ready to boss around your calendar like never before, and remember, we’re here for all your legal needs and life hacks. Let’s make it a year to remember, filled with smiles, successes, and a whole lot of time management swagger!

Debt Rumors Debunked!
Debt Jailbreak: The Real Scoop Let’s set the record straight. Not paying debts doesn’t earn you a VIP ticket to the big house in the civil court arena. I’ve seen more debt cases than I’ve seen episodes of my favorite sitcom (and that’s saying something). Creditors might knock on your legal door, but we’re talking about settling debts, not becoming the star of “Debt Behind Bars.” So, my debt-dodging friends, fear not! If you’re wading through the murky waters of debt, your trusty local legal comedian — oops, I mean attorney — is here to guide you through without the drama. Disclaimer: For legal laughs tailored to your situation (or, you know, actual legal advice), consult with the one and only Mr. Dellutri, your go-to attorney for nearly three decades.
Greetings, neighbors! It’s your local legal maestro, Carmen Dellutri, here to drop some legal knowledge bombs, or as I like to call them, “law-ughs.” Lately, I’ve been hearing rumors that not paying debts could turn into a real-life episode of “Orange Is the New Black.” Well, hold your horses because we’re about to clear the fog on that one! Debt Debunked: Civil vs. Criminal In the left corner, we’ve got civil law, the referee in the ring of personal disputes. It’s the peacemaker, resolving family drama, contract quibbles, and property beefs. But, fear not, my friends. Civil law won’t be dragging you to the slammer for that overdue credit card bill. It’s more of a “let’s talk this out” situation. Now, in the right corner, we’ve got criminal law, the heavy hitter dealing with the big guns — think theft, assault, and the stuff they make movies about. But unless you’re plotting the next “Ocean’s Eleven,” your debts won’t make you a criminal mastermind.
Stay debt-free and delightful,
–Carmen Dellutri

“Well, it finally happened. The unexpected life events and the continuing financial stress of it all hit a breaking point. So, I called Dellutri Law Group to get an idea of which direction to go. BAKED SALMON WITH GARLIC AND LEMON
level of 0.08% or higher or while under the influence of a chemical or controlled substance.
Even your first conviction can cost you. In Florida, your first DUI conviction can result in these penalties:
Prepare to tantalize your taste buds with a zesty dish that combines salmon with the vibrant flavors of garlic and lemon!
1. Fines ranging from $500–$1,000 or more 2. Community service — mandatory 50 hours or an additional fine equaling $10 per required community service hour 3. Probation of no more than one year 4. Jail time 5. Vehicle impoundment 6. Having your driver’s license revoked for up to one year After the first DUI conviction, the penalties become much more severe. Fines are higher, jail time is increased, and you may even get your driver’s license permanently revoked. Although these penalties may seem harsh, they don’t compare to the penalties incurred when someone is injured or dies as a result of your driving while intoxicated. If this happens, you may be charged with a DUI misdemeanor, DUI felony, or DUI manslaughter. Always have a designated driver. If you know you’re going to be drinking, it’s important to have a way to get home, whether that means calling a taxi or using a designated driver. Before you go out, choose someone in your group to be the designated driver for the night. You’ll know you have a safe way home, and you’ll eliminate the possibility of getting a DUI. DUI accidents are preventable. Before you drink and drive, think about whether it’s worth it, and always find an alternative way to get home.
