Russell County 4-H Club recognizes achievements
Un résident de St-Isidore termine 2017 en beauté !
Le résident de St-Isidore Jean Claude Bourgon terminait son année 2017 en apprenant qu’il était le grand gagnant du tirage annuel de la Loto Chevaliers du Conseil des Chevaliers de Colomb de St-Isidore, qui a eu lieu le 31 décembre dernier. L’homme a remporté un voyage d’une valeur de 2500 $. Les gagnants des deuxième et troisième prix sont Adam Massia d’Ottawa et Simon Leroux de Rockand. Ils ont chacun gagné un montant de 500 $. Le responsable du tirage était Claude Levac. – Caroline Prévost

The Russell County 4-H Club held an Awards Banquet on Saturday, January 6 at the Limoges Community Centre, to recognize its members’ achievements throughout 2017.The ceremony beganwith dances from the Square Dance Club and the Line Dance Club, followed by a pot luck lunch. There were several varieties of 4-H Clubs present, such as the Dance Club, the Vet Club, The Maple Syrup Club, the Garden Club, the Heritage Poultry Club, A World of Food in Canada Club and the Dairy Calf Club. In each club, a “Most Enthusiastic” member was chosen and awarded a certificate. —photo fournie
