Mountz articulated torque arms absorb the torque reaction emitted from power tools, enhancing operator comfort and reducing fatigue. The torque arms provide exceptional agility, making them perfect for complex and dynamic tasks. These arms enhance ergonomic support by allowing operators to maneuver tools precisely and efficiently, significantly reducing physical strain and preventing repetitive motion injuries. With the ability to bend like an elbow, articulated torque arms can be used in various positions, making them suitable for various applications. Whether working in tight spaces or needing to adjust the angle frequently, these arms provide the required flexibility.

Apply Induction Heat (If Necessary): If resistance is high, heat may be applied cautiously using an induction heater to assist with cap removal if necessary; however, extreme care must be taken as excessive heat can damage or remove the powder coat finish, especially on ESD and Cleanroom tools. Use heat only as a last resort and with proper temperature control. especially on ESD and Use an induction heater around the FG top cap for approximately 7–10 seconds to assist with removal. The top cap should come loose from the cam ring (top image). However, in some cases, the cam ring may loosen from the handle instead (bottom image). Either outcome is acceptable, and you may proceed with disassembly. Remove the tool from the vise. Note that the type of Loctite used during re assembly in steps 2.8-2.9 will vary depending on which component was separated.
