Errigal Facades has evolved as a result of client expectations to fulfil external façade requirements over the past five years.

Errigal Facades account for approx. 20% of Errigal’s overall turnover

Approved installers of all major SFS systems, as well as approved installer for Sto Render, Gebrik Brick Slip Cladding, Idealcombi windows and Siderise fire barriers systems.

Specialise in a range of brick slip cladding and rainscreen systems & offer a full envelope solution from design through to completion

CAD / Working Drawings Full in house design capabilities covering CAD & BIM This year we have added a total of 4 new in house designers, increasing our design team to 10 Work with a number of consultants including structural designers and architects to develop & deliver the clients brief

Bespoke Solutions

Provide bespoke designs to get the most economic solution for the client. Off site manufacture of certain components to expedite programme on site and reduce weather related down time

Early engagement with Main contractor to assist in design development & provide cost surety and programme certainty External consultant on all façade projects to ensure performance criteria are achieved including regular site inspections to review progress and to ensure all works are in accordance with design

Errigal Facades have now carried out 6 full scale fire testing of façade elements at Exova’s Cladding Testing Facility in Dubai, 3 in November 17 and 3 in November 18 for our clients and recently 1 at the new EFFECTIS facility at Ulster University Campus Belfast December 18.   The tests were carried out to BS8414 Part 2 and classified against Annex B BR135 as a route to compliance for use of combustible materials above 18m. Errigal remit included testing rig configuration, material procurement, logistics and rig build. The testing rigs reflected the finishes chosen on an upcoming project in East London and included a combination of materials with differing wall build ups, fire classification and insulation thickness, which is the first of its kind tobe tested successfully.

The Errigal Training Centre was established in January 2016 The Errigal training academy has been working in conjunction with South West College Enniskillen and North West Regional College Limavady to complete the Errigal Apprenticeship. This year we became a City & Guilds approved learning Centre, delivering apprenticeships in Drylining & Interior Systems. All apprentices will qualify with the following certification:

• City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Drylining • City & Guilds Level 2 NVQ in Interior Systems

Our Training Centre can also offer certification in the following: • IPAF • PASMA • CSCS/CSR • First Aid • Manual Handling

Our undergraduate Degree Programme is run in conjunction with University of Ulster delivering: • Degree in Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management • Degree in Construction, Engineering & Management

The R&D facility has a f oor area of 600m2 (30x20m) therefore we are able to accommodate large scale mock-ups which in the past have included a seven metre high glazed partition in conjunction with an angle feature ceiling. Being a clean and dust-free environment it is also ideal for the application paint samples and acoustic render systems. Here at Errigal we have a purpose built research & development facility which is used to develop design concepts into buildable finished products. It enables us to run various scenarios on feasibility , buildability and efficiency whilst allowing us to gain a greater understanding on how we coordinate with other trades. l

Current Year Performance is on track. We are currently three years into our ambitions five year expansion plan ahead of schedule, with further growth planned. This coupled with a firm order book positions us to achieve £82m outturn for 2018 and a target of £120m for 2019, of which we have already secured £88m.
