You should always start with a clean base. Applying a primer allows the makeup to stay longer and makes it easier to blend the eyeshadows. Use a concealer under the eyes and on the eyelids to even out any discoloration STEP 1: Start by applying a mid-tone shadow all over the lid. Opt for greys, browns or nudes to create a subtle smokey base. Take a dark brown eyeshadow and apply it to the outer corner and take it into the crease to create depth. Pack on the gold eyeshadow and blend. Keep applying the gold to the middle of the lid and the brown in the outer corner till you are happy with the intensity. Layer a dark tone shadow like espresso, charcoal or smoke over the liner, blending halfway up the lid and into the lid shadow. Apply the gold eyeshadow to the lower lashline. Follow up with black liner on the lower water line. STEP 2:
