EN ISO 13688 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Protective clothing replaces or covers personal clothing and is designed to provide protection against one or more hazards. This standard regulates the general requirements of ergonomics, safety, size designation, aging, compatibility and marking of protective clothing and the information that the manufacturer has to provide with the clothing.

EN 343 PROTECTIONAGAINSTRAIN

The European standard EN 343 specifies the requirements and test methods applicable to the materials used and to the seams made to make protective clothing against rainfall in the form of rain, snow, fog and soil moisture with temperatures up to -5 °C. The standard, in addition to the criteria suitable for defining excellent waterproofing, defines the comfort criteria of the garment that will be intended for both work and leisure.

EN 14058 GARMENTS FOR PROTECTIONS AGAINST COOL ENVIROMENTS

EN 14058 specifies the requirements and test methods for the performance of garments for the protection of the body against the effects of cold environments with temperatures above -5 °C. These effects include not only low air temperatures, but also humidity and air velocity.
